TAC 002 - Cassette - What's It All About? - Mark T.- Cheap Tac Music - Cassette Only - 1983
This self produced cassette recorded over a couple of afternoons by Simon Mayor on a Teac four track caught the imagination of the Folk and emerging Roots press. Rave reviews were received across Britain & Europe, along with regular airplay in New York & California - where one DJ, Ed Haber, played virtually every track.
(British radio stations were not allowed to play cassettes in those days - subsequently What's It All About? received virtually no airplay - although Richard Digance did play a couple of tracks on his radio London show direct from the master tapes.
